The words the register depends on
A file fails when two teams use the same word for different things. These are the terms this site uses, each defined in our words with a note on why it matters and how to use it.

VSE, profile, work product, role
If four terms are fuzzy, the register will be fuzzy. VSE is the entity of up to 25 people, not the whole group. Profile is the set of processes for a situation, not a maturity badge. Work product is the artefact the process produces, not a meeting note. Role is a set of tasks assigned to a person, not a job title.
Write those four into the scope note first. The rest of the terms follow from them, and the practice pages use them consistently.
Where the terms come from
The public abstract supplies the definition of a VSE, the four process names and the situation the Intermediate profile addresses. The other terms are stated in our words and are labelled as our reading where the public record does not define them. The FDIS body is not public, so no draft definition is quoted.
