What the abstract says. The public abstract describes a guide for the Intermediate profile. It covers four process areas: Business Management, then Project Management, then System Definition and Realisation, and finally Acquisition Management. It applies to very small entities, which it defines as enterprises, organisations, departments or projects of up to 25 people, and it says larger organisations are not excluded. The guide was built from the systems engineering Basic profile, adding or changing elements such as the process, task, work product and role, so that a VSE can run parallel projects with more than one team. It is intended for non-critical systems.

How the document reached stage 50.00

The table is the ISO life-cycle record, in order. The rows after stage 50.00 carry no date on the public record, so this page does not invent one.

03The date

Why the planning date is 18 February 2027

The public record shows stage 50.00 dated 15 July 2026 and no date for stage 50.20 or for publication. ISO has announced no publication date. We use 18 February 2027, 120 days from the record date of 22 October 2026, as a planning date and label it everywhere as our arithmetic.

That is a planning device, not a promise. If the ballot returns comments, the date moves. If publication runs long, the date moves. The change watch exists because the date is the one fact most likely to move. The decision to adopt, watch or decline the profile is the organization's, and it should be recorded with the reason.

Do not put this date in a contract as an ISO date. It is our arithmetic. The official record is the only source for the stage, and it currently shows no publication date.
04What is not public

The body, the clauses and the annex

The ISO page does not publish the FDIS body. This site therefore cannot state a clause number, a clause heading or a quotation. It does not. What it states instead is the public record and the practices a VSE can put in place, each labelled by its basis and cited to the public record or the published structure of the series.

When the published edition appears, the register is re-baselined against it. Kit buyers receive the reissued files at no extra charge, and the watch sends the stage change.
