Watch the record move
An email when the ISO record changes, with the diff. The watch is for the months around publication, when a file built on a draft needs to know that the record moved.
The fields, one by one
- The stage code and the stage date.
- The designation, the title and the edition.
- The committee and the ICS.
- The page count, where the public record states one.
- The record hash, so a silent edit to any field is caught.
The watch reads the public ISO record and compares it with the record this site is built from. When a field changes, the email shows the old value, the new value and the field. It does not send a summary without the diff.
The limits
- It does not watch your own systems, your evidence, your review dates or your assessor.
- It does not predict the publication date. It reports the record.
- It does not replace the review trigger in your transition plan. The plan should have a stage-change branch and a calendar branch; the watch fires the first.
- It does not give legal advice or certify anything.
The refresh behind it
The site ships a refresh script that re-downloads the public record, diffs it against the reviewed record and fails loudly on any change. The same diff is what the watch sends. The script is run before each rebuild, and a change stops the deploy until the record and the pages agree.
That is the mechanism the buyer is paying for: a machine check of the source, not a promise to remember to look.
What changed last
The record was retrieved on 2026-10-22. The stage is 50.00, the stage date is 15 July 2026, and the next stage 50.20 carries no date on the public record. The changelog page lists every change to this site and to the record it reads.
